As an avid fan of Flying Doctors I thought I was pretty clued up on the characters, but something today made me think of one I can't recall properly - he was a pilot, I think way back in the early days of the show. I think he was the pilot before Sam, and I think his name might have been Gerry or Jerry. Can anyone remember him, and who the actor was who played him?

Gerry came after Sam. Perhaps you're thinking about Gibbo?
If my memory serves me right, it was first David "Gibbo" Gibson (Lewis Fitz-Gerald), then Sam Patterson (Peter O'Brien), then Debbie O'Brien (Louise Siversen), then Gerry O'Neill (Justin Gaffney) and lastly John "Johnno" Johnson (Christopher Stollery). Pre-Gibbo... don't remember his name, as he wasn't in that many episodes. Hope that helps. :)

The first one was Andy McGregor (the mini series) then for season 1 they had a charter pilot called Ray for the first episode then Gibbo waltzed into it.
