Was the A-Wing Pilot even in the cartoon?

I've watched all three Droids series and I don't recall seeing the A-Wing pilot in any of them. Is he even featured? I don't blame Kenner for releasing a 'Droids' figure of him anyway since he was an already produced in the POTF figure line. But anyways, any info would be appreciated.

Who runs Barter Town?!?!

No, the A-Wing pilot was never in an episode of Droids, only the ship was.

Wasn't the A-Wing pilot really just Jann Tosh wearing the outfit and flying the A-wing?
That's my impression from watching an episode like "The Pirates of Tarnoonga".
And I don't recall ever seeing the A-wing pilot figure ever on stores shelves, along with Droids Boba Fett figure.

There WAS an A-Wing Fighter Pilot action figure featured in BOTH Power Of The Force & Droids figure lines. Looked very similar to the B-Wing Pilot, but with a green flight-suit & slightly smaller helmet.
