Frankie and Sable were sisters (ridiculous in itself - they looked nothing alike and had different accents) who married brothers, and then Frankie later married Sable's husband. They were also cousins to Alexis, making Fallon a cousin to both of her love interests, Jeff and Miles.

Sable & Frankie's differing accents are not-quite-convincingly explained as being due to Sable being raised in England w their mother & Frankie in the US w their father. They barely knew each other until the were 'reunited' at boarding school in Europe.
