Racist Looney Tunes!

I got a hold of some racist Looney Tunes off of the net. They are banned and will never be shown on TV. Let me tell you I was shocked! Bugs and Daffy in racist cartoons! I was shocked! Once again they made fools and bufoons out of black folks! What a racist time for young black children to grow up in. To see images like this in the movies and on TV! Shame on you Looney Toons!

Yep, there was a Bugs Bunny cartoon called 'The Rabbit Who Came to Supper' where he humiliates...and dehumanizes a buffoonish African American stereotype.
Angelo Moore of the band Fishbone might call it, and I quote, "not too far from a Ku Klux Klan cartoon".

Then again, Bugs Bunny did lock lips with Michael Jordan in 'Space Jam'. If Bugs can have a change of heart, maybe a short sighted individual can, too.

The character was no more buffoonish than Elmer Fudd.

Looney Tunes had many politically incorrect things in it. Why do you think it's not shown on TV anymore? They made fun of everything that people nowdays hesitate to make fun of it in a cartoon. The comment from above is right, it is a double standard. In all of those celebrity parody cartoons, they make fun of a white celebrity OK BUT if you make fun of a black celebrity the whole world screams "racist"! And the whole controversy is because the people behind the cartoons are white.

I bet nobody even thought about the animal cruelty. Elmer hunting Bugs and/or Daffy, Yosemite Sam at Bugs, BULL FIGHTING! AND the cartoon your talking about, "All this and Rabbit Stew" has Bugs being HUNTED by the negro. Also that was a country bumpkin' and that type of southern yokel personality was used for other cartoon characters as well. You never hear any complaints because they were either white or animals.

There's also that goofy Indian/Arabic stereotypical character Hassan, who is guarding a temple and struggles to remember the phrase to open it ("Open Sesame") after Bugs Burrows inside.
