Season 2 DVD US release yet?

I can't find this anywhere and all I heard about was a Japan release. What is the deal with getting the second season on DVD?

reply

It has been released in Japan, Germany and Italy. Come on, Universal!! Release it in the USA and Spain!

reply

Absolutely!!! The series has an obvious cult following. Don't leave us with just half the episodes. Let us collectors COLLECT!!!!

reply

I'm waiting too!

reply

It's available on Netfl!x :) I know you can't exactly keep it, but that could tie you over for a while.

reply

Someone could record and upload as a torrent. :)

reply

Looks like it's been removed from Netflix.......at least here in Canada :(

ditto

A lot of Season 2's episodes have recently been re-rated by the BBFC in the UK, for Universal. It's undoubtedly for an upcoming release there; I hope it means that Universal is prepping a US release as well.

They've gotta be. I always loved this show. SyFy (then The Sci-Fi Channel) would often show marathons of it. I especially loved the one with Weird Al where he had cabbage for a head.

Is it region free?

reply

The only information that is noted for that Amazon product, is that it is an "Import"

Just because it is "Imported", doesn't mean it will play in North American DVD/Blu-Ray players.

Is it region free?

Region "Free", Region "ALL" or Region "ZERO" should work for just about everyone who has equipment that can play NTSC content.

Region "1" would be good for any of us living in North America.

Sadly, Amazon doesn't provide that information.

I won't spend money on something that I don't know if it will play on my equipment or not.

reply

I just received mine from Amazon and it plays fine in my region one DVD player.

It's put out by Umbrella Entertainment and states on the back it's region four. It's obviously region free however.

It's NTSC and I don't know if it'll work on a PAL player. Maybe someone more knowledgeable would know.
