was it filmed in Vancouver, BC?

Nope - it was shot in and around Toronto. The Wilson house was to the north in the Newmarket area. The boat docks were near the foot of Spadina Ave. The hospital was Women's Hospital downtown.

The house was my house in Caledon East north-west of Toronto. Well paid and they made me new drapes and cushions!
