Melissa Sue Anderson

What was the episode in which she was in her home and she's attacked while recording a video message to someone? What accually happens in that episode?

It's been a while and the details are kind of fuzzy.

I never saw them but according to IMDB the names of the episodes were:

"Alfred Hitchcock Presents"
- Murder in Mind (1989) TV Episode .... Julie Fenton
- VCR - Very Careful Rape (1988) TV Episode .... Laura Donovan

"VCR" was one of the Canadian produced episodes, involving Melissa Anderson as an actress that tapes herself practicing a crucial scene in a play that she's in. While taping, an ex-boyfriend of hers breaks into her apartment and proceeds to (graphically) rape her while the camera's running. She makes the mistake of showering and washing her clothes she was wearing during the attack, thereby washing away any evidence. The police are none to helpful in beleieving her story, but she remembers that the camera was on during the crime. She invites him over and plays the tape while describing the humiliation she had to endure by living with what he had done to her. But she does get her revenge on him, finally putting an end to her trauma.

Actually, it is one of her college professors that rapes her. I have to warn you that the rape scene is surprisingly graphic and it happens in the first 5 minutes of the show so you can skip over that part. They show her jeans getting ripped off and the professor grunt at the climax. Be warned.

I remember that. It was on USA Network (back when good stuff accually played on there) and I was like "huh? what the... oh om God!"

I like that episode, but i have seen much worse rape scenes before.

Not quite. She's a student actress video taping a scene when an intruder breaks in and graphically rapes her. She's convinced it's her college professor. The police don't believe her, so she invites him over and stabs him to death while showing him the video.

But.

When he sees the video, he insists it's not him. She then stabs him, saying, who would believe him? Then, as she comes around to face him and twists the knife, she snarls, "Remember Janice?" As he dies, he seems to recognise the name. Afterward, she rehearses a scene for the police, acting hysterical and saying he broke back in to rape her again. Then she lets her face go blank. It's all an act.

At the very end, she meets a young man at a cafe. He apologises for being so rough with her during the "rape" scene they acted out for their class the other night and asks if she's okay. He was the "rapist", only, it was all staged.

She smiles and tells him she's fine. Then she tells him a little story about her sister, Janice. It seems Janice was raped by her college professor, but no one believed her when she accused him. So, she went insane and ended up in a mental hospital. You can guess who the professor was. She puts the pieces together enough for her friend to get the picture, but then she points out to him that she has him on tape, "raping" her, and he has no proof of her plan. Then she gets up and walks away. It was quite a memorable twist! Despite the fact that the professor really deserved it, the way she went about getting her revenge for her sister was quite chilling.
