More realistic than Good Times and The Cosby Show

To me, 227 has always been unique because it is smack dab in the middle of the extremes that were Good Times and The Cosby Show. IMO, it's a more realistic depiction of 'black life' than the two other shows mentioned. They weren't rich or poor. They were simply every day working class folks, who were able to find a decent standard of living and maintain it.
