The funniest scene in the movie . . .

. . . got to be the "Play-Back 'La bien pagá'" on T.V. with Pedro himself in it.

A pity that most of it is shown "as seen on T.V." but the trailer shows more of it 'directly'.

The way Almodóvar moves just had me in stitches

My favourite has to be when Miguel comes home and Carmen Maura begins to interrogate him:

-"Where were you, Miguel?"
-"At Juan's house studying."
-"Lies! You were sleeping with his father!"
-"So? I'm the owner of my own body."

then:

-"What's for dinner?"
-"Nothing. If you're the owner of your own body, feed it yourself!"

I just love the way all these lines are delivered so dryly/matter of fact. Hilarious.

I just love Pedro. Not in a physical way, I hasten to add

that's the greatest thing about this film. all the snarky, dark humor is so matter of fact in its delivery. gotta love it!

There are plenty of hilarious moments in this movie. Perhaps the funniest one is when one of the cop kills the lizard and then his fellow detective scold him for having killed the only "eyewitness" of Antonio's murder!

I loved when the dentist makes the lewd gestures with his tongue, and also when the girl papers the wall telepathically.

Friend: aint it pretty?
Grandma: yes. If you haven't seen Granada, you havent seen nothing. Have you been there?
Friend: No, never.

Actually, I don't know if you are a Spanish speaker, but in case you are not that scene carries a pun since "nada" in Spanish means nothing, so that's why if you haven't seen "Gra-nada" you haven't seen nothing. just saying...
