Why can't I remember his films?

Does anybody else have this problem:

I've seen almost every film by Pedro. Yet, except for this film, I can't distinguish them in my mind except based on basic plot lines and certain memorable scenes (i.e. final scene of Matador). Each story is so rich and well done that I can't ever figure out which one I liked best. All his films are so good.

The pet lizard...the boy sold to the dentist for dental services...the pregnant transexual...

How could you ever forget them?

Almodovar's films are mostly excellent but also nonlinear. They all certainly have plots, but they also have subplots and detours that make it hard to tell one from the other. But I'll always remember this as the lizard film, just as I remember "Dark Habits" as the convent film.
