With all due respect to Gene & Gilda, this was BAD

I remember this when it came out as it was one of the first PG-13 movies and of course contained Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called to Say I Love You" which was ubiquitous that year and went on to win an Oscar for Best Song. I'm just now seeing it for the first time (in 2019!) and boy is it bad which is hard for me to say because Gene Wilder not only stars but also writes and directs. I was really hoping for something a lot more interesting involving Gilda Radner's character as she made me laugh out loud a few times. If Wilder's character hadn't been married to Judith Ivey, it would have been a more interesting story if Wilder ended up falling in love with Radner's homely character and not the model played by Kelly Le Brock he's infatuated with. A few amusing moments with Charles Grodin and I liked the San Francisco locale but it simply wasn't funny enough.
