music soundtrack

I was listening to the Stevie Wonder radio station on AOL and heard a song that was listed as being on the soundtrack for this movie. Upon looking into this
further I found that he had in fact done several songs in the movie -
some with Dionne Warwick.

Makes me want to take another look at this movie.

Cheerio!

I already purchased the DVD for this film and I've been listening to the songs
from my computer non-stop, LOL. I'm planning to buy the CD soon too.

Does anyone know the name of the song and artist that was played during Gene's and Kelly LAST scene...(where they're stripping ;) It's not featured on the soundtrack. I THINK it's called "Let's Just" or something like that.

Thanks!
Tony ;)

Yep, it's called "Let's Just...", by Larry Gittens (who used to play with Stevie Wonder). That song is not included in the CD soundtrack and I also think it's never been released in any format yet.
So bad, since I think it is the best song in the entire movie. If anyone knows any album or CD where it appears, please let me know!

It's funny: I was really just searching through the IMDB for this movie to try to find info on that song. I've done a bit of fairly extensive web searching, but all I can find is others asking questions about it. No answers, though. Someone has to know more about this song. I wonder if the fragment that was used in the film was all that was ever written.
