Wonderfully Absurd

Just watched this film and must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The scene where smoke is billowing out of the military airplane because the Aborigines have built a campfire inside is a sight gag worthy of anything Peter Sellers or Mel Brooks has ever done. Herzog does hit us over the head with the the mistreatment and disinheritance of the Aboriginal homeland, but he does it in a most entertaining way.
