vaguely remember watching this movie

I vaguely remember watching this movie. It was on a channel that was very much like Lifetime, but it was before the channel existed. I can't even remember what year I saw it.

I remember a blonde woman with her mouth sewn or burned shut. I remember she was an Army nurse. She was taking care of a guy that had been in a motorcycle accident, and he tried to get fresh with her, taking advantage of the fact that she couldn't talk, much less scream. She and a man (probably her husband) are seen about to get in bed, but the husband is too repulsed by her looks. Dr. Stallings talks with her about her surgery telling her that she was going to have beautiful lips. At the end, it shows the stages of her surgery.

I also remember a movie on the network in which Linda (Alice) Lavin played a nurse named Joy Ufema, but I can't remember the name of it.

Quincy ME was playing on a network somewhere at that time, but I can't remember which one. One episode was talking about people getting typhoid from bad water and at autopsy, the patients' intestines had turned gray because of it. Another talked about a nurse who'd been murdered. Quincy found this
out because of the strange color of the "nail polish", blood red. I can't remember how she died, though, a poison needle under her fingernail, maybe?
