is there

hi is there anyone else who loved this film growing up

reply

Yes, I absolutely loved this movie growing up...I guess it is kind of a strange choice for a six year old...but I did love it! I haven’t watched it in awhile, but I do have it on tape. I guess that's why I do love it, when I do watch it, it brings back a lot of memories of my childhood, and it just feels like the '80s (which I love, too). I guess it was the style of clothing and especially the music!

Hell yes! I got a humongous kick out of this movie - I STILL love the soundtrack, and thought Lisa Hartman was one of the most gorgeous women in the world.

Lisa Hartman Black (now Clint's wife) is a beautiful woman as well as a talented singer. She sings "Where The Boys Are" at the end of the film over the closing credits. I'd like to find a recording of that.

This title, "Spring Break" and "The Wild Life" are three I wish I could find on DVD.

I loved this movie. I used to rent it and Spring Break all the time. They were fun teen movies, which was just perfect for me since I was a teenager at the time (16 to be exact).

I was only 4 when the movie came out, but back then it took like 2 years for movies to come to video... My sister was in high school and she'd watch it with her friends and I used to sneek the movie out of her room and watch it, I remember when i got older she used to fast forward the sex scene (if you can call it that) with Chip and Carole. We laugh about it now because that was hardly a sex scene!

I love this movie!!

I love this movie. It's so nostalgic for me, even though I was only, like, 10 when it came out. But I just adore 80's movies like this, and LoveLines... that's a classic. It's so terrible, but I LOVE it... it has a Battle of the Bands contest, high school rivalry and all that madness. Here's a listing of some of my faves:

Where the Boys Are '84
LoveLines
Secret Admirer
Spring Break
Fraternity Vacation
Hard Bodies
Tomboy
The Last Dragon
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
The Last American Virgin
Mischief

Anybody remember any of those?

I saw this movie when it was out on cable since i was way too young to see it at the movies. My parents were cool as kids we got to watch whatever we wanted and my mom loves this movie too so I have watched it since i was little. this movie NEEDS to be released on dvd. I do have a vhs copy that i bought on ebay which is in GREAT shape.
