When's VW going to direct another film?

Between 1984 and 1992 Vincent Ward wrote and directed three wonderful, imaginative films - for my money far finer than anything made by his over-hyped fellow-Kiwi Jane Campion. Then, it seems, he became a director for hire in Hollywood and somehow got himself hitched to that revolting excrescence, "What Things May Come". Has this unfortunate association somehow made it impossible for him to get any more directing work? What I want to know is, when are we going to see the next Vincent Ward film (and I do mean "Vincent Ward film", not a Hollywood film that happens to be directed by Vincent Ward)? Does anyone have any news?
