hey, they forgot to mention MIKE THE DOG!!!! dare i say it....the greatest animal actor in history....ok, maybe not, but he definatly made the movie for me!

I thought his name in real life was Jake. He was Chuck in the movie, but Jake in real life, at least that's what the credits said...

Jake's official casting in the end credits is "Chuck the Wonder Dog"!

I'm sorry, I know this is a really old thread but...

I thought that was Mike (aka Matisse) too in Up the Creek at first. But this dog, Jake, has an all white face and Mike had a half white half black face, with different colored eyes. Similar looking dogs though.
