Okay.

For the ladies (and fellas) out there...

Am I totally crazy when I think that Christopher Guest was ridiculously attractive in this movie?

It's been years since I was introduced to it, and I still am madly in love with Nigel Tufnel.

Discuss. :)

I think he is CRAZY attractive! It's weird though, because it's only in this film! Haha. I'd never admit it to my family (who showed me this movie as a kid) but yeah, he is damn attractive.

Thought he resembled Ozzy Osbourne a bit.

It is said they modeled the character of Nigel after the drummer from The Arrows, Paul Varley. If you google pics of him the resemblence is uncanny. The Arrows are famous as the originators of I Love Rock 'n Roll in 1975.

Definately attractive in The Princess Bride. I grew up watching that movie, i've probably seen it 20,000 times. They were showing it along with some other 'classic' films at our local theater and I went to see it on the big screen. About half-way through the film, I was like, "Wait a minute, since when did the six-fingered man get so HOT?!' I probably never noticed before because to a 10-year old, anyone with facial hair is, you know, old. But watching it as an adult I definately noticed, even with the bad wig :D

Nah not crazy, he was a good looking guy in the movie, and you could say his acting/character gives him an added charm. After all 'whats wrong with being sexy?' (sorry, couldn't resist):).

You're not the only one who thinks so. Apparently Jamie Lee Curtis saw his picture around this time, fell in love with it, and wangled an introduction to him through a mutual acquaintance. The rest is history!
