Fans should know this is available on the Halloween II Blu-ray!

I already had several versions of Halloween II on DVD, but when I picked up the Blu-ray in the store and read on the back that one of the special features is the full "Terror In The Aisles" documentary I ran to the counter to buy it. Widescreen and Blu-ray, how hot is that! I just hope more people figure this out and go buy it before it disappears from the shelves.

Hope you and yours are Happy. Read my Reviews and please make comments, Neal.

Haha. I had the same reaction too. I was going to get Halloweeen 2 and I noticed this and was like "what the". I felt TITA could have been a stand alone release, not an extra . I remembered it from when I was growing up and hadn't actually seen it in a long time. Long story short, it was a treat. Thanks for your post.

I'm still pretty damned shocked that this happened. If you'd asked me five years ago, "Which films are least likely to get a digital release?" this would've been right near the top.

While a blu-ray of this sounds great, I am not too crazy about the thought of buying HALLOWEEN II (first Halloween was good, H2, not so much. Ashamed it was not on the blu ray of the first movie). I will stick to buying the plain DVD.

Nah, go for it—'Halloween II' has since gotten a newer, better Blu-ray release without 'Terror' as a feature, and the one WITH 'Terror' as a feature is now less than $9 on Amazon. You'd actually spend over twice as much to buy 'Terror' by itself on DVD at this point.

LOL, that is exactly what I did! When I saw the retail price for the plain DVD, yes, the HALLOWEEN II blu-ray was so much cheaper. A definite roll-reversal where the blu-ray was actually the less costly product.

Though it says HALLOWEEN II on the cover, for fun, I am going to think of that as the bonus feature, with TERROR IN THE AISLES as the main movie!

Lord knows I do, ha ha. ;) Seeing 'Halloween II' late at night on cable (with the sound turned low of course) is one of my treasured childhood memories, but the movie itself seems worse every time I look at it now.

Upon looking at it for the first time in a long time, HALLOWEEN II was not as bad as I remembered it to be. Still, quite inferior to the first one, but I liked the ending of it, which should have been "the ending of it!", instead of needlessly continuing on with the series. Plus, I forgot that HII had Ana Alicia, an actress I had a bit of crush on back in the day. Ah, to be youthful again!

I like a lot of things about it, but the script is terrible. The only plot to speak of is that retroactive "motive" for Michael Myers that provides an excuse for Jamie Lee Curtis to be in this one too, and the rest is just hospital staff being murdered with medical equipment. Easy to ignore the crummy writing when you're a kid watching a forbidden horror movie, but not so much now, heh.
