If one goes to the first page of the review for this film, then checks under "Fun Stuff," and clicks on "Movie Connections," one will find a list of all 77 films featured in this documentary, arranged by the year that the film was released.

Some other movies that are shown, some are at the end during the credits are:

Dressed to Kill
The Brood
Marathon Man (Dustin Hoffman & the evil Dentist)
Alone in the Dark
The one with Sylvester Stallone & the guy from the Hitcher I want to say is Hawk something or other, but can't remember the name.
Midnight Express (the guy with the bomb strapped to his chest)

Does it not list all the movies at the very end of the credits? I too am curious as to what all the movies are.

Hope this helps.

kaneeileen02,

The movie with Stallone and Rutger Hauer is Night Hawks(One of Stallone's best movies)
And the guy(Brad Davis playing the real-life Billy Hayes) does not have a bomb strapped to his chest in Midnight Express, it's drugs that he's taped to himself to smuggle back into the States.

It lists the movies at the end credits...and you can also look on this site for the movie under Movie Connections it lists all the movies.

What the other posters on here listed is correct, and the ones I remember. My sister and I saw this movie on Saturday afternoon, November 3, 1984 in our local theater while in high school. Our grandmother drove us over to it, then our mother picked us up later. We wanted to go because we were big movie fans then, watched alot on our VCR and in theaters, and horror seemed to be our favorite kind of movie. Thus, this movie really did appeal to us then, with all the various clips from different horror movies, and an overview/analysis of them. We did recognize many of the movies then, and I did see this movie later on our VCR. I read on here that it was not on DVD, and is unlikely to be due to copyright problems. But it might also seem too dated now, simply because so many horror movies have come out since 1984. Then again, this was a good, varied, and diverse group it had, and included some real classics, so maybe that would not matter. But I did like this movie, thought it did very well in inserting the clips of all these movies into it, as well as giving a very thourough overview and analysis of the horror genre. And I thought the narration by Donald Pleasance and nancy Allen was very good as well.
