I saw this in the movie theater - want to know a particular scene

There was an abusive boyfriend/husband who was yelling and screaming at his wife/girlfriend. At one point he kindly asked her to open the door and she foolishly opened the door. He then made fun of her and said she was stupid for opening the door. What movie is this from? And don't say Terror In The Aisles unless you're getting a sex change operation - I want to know the movie it was originally from. A lot of times when you tell someone not to do something, they do it just to annoy you. It reminds me of "I don't want to hear one peep" and then someone shouts out "peep".

Terror In The Aisles got bad reviews, but I liked it a little bit. I've seen a lot worse.
