For being 84, I don't think Jimmy looked bad at all

I read these stories on how deathly ill he was--yes he was ill but Jimmy looked very sharp and alert and said his lines seemingly with at ease even though that may have not been entirely the case. I got a copy of an off-air taping just recently. I compared with Ragtime and I question if his voice was in fact dubbed at all or do I have an original. Well done swan song, Jimmy!

im jealous. on youtube video CBS Tuesday Thursday Promos - March 1984. it's only one line but he definitely sounds dubbed by the voice impersonator

Amen! I thought he played a very sympathetic character and it looks like the actor in him rose to the occasion for one last hurrah. I found nothing to criticize about this movie. Well done, Mr. Cagney. We miss you but rest in peace, Sir.
