Why did James Cameron include the cheesy sex scene?
T1 would've been better without the cheesy sex scene. It's the one thing that prevented T1 from being a masterpiece. T2 is the only Terminator movie that is a true masterpiece.

Because there is nothing cheesy about putting a ten year old kid in charge of a killing machine from the future and teaching him corny retorts like 'Hasta la Vista, baby'!
Ummmm the sex scene was actually part of the plot, pay attention next time.
shareBecause of the central twist of the movie (its a timeloop - Kyle is John's father) and obviously Linda Hamilton was smokin' hot in 1984 (therefore the appeal for the male audience of seeing her naked having sex, as with many other R rated action/horror movies of the 80s/90s)
shareHmmm... gosh you are not really tolerant. Oo I never felt like it was really "necessary", I give you that (even though it is technically part of the plot). But it doesn't ruin anything and I still think the movie is a masterpiece. No movie is perfect afterall.
