A voyage worth taking

Slow, ponderious, and thought provoking... anf they're the good parts of this film!

Angelopoulos has given us (arguably) his most thought provoking film. He manages to confront us with issues of isolation and assimilation in an objective manner that leaves taking (political? sociological?) sides to the viewer, as any decent narravitve should.
