Cheapest DVD eva'!

I got this from Netflix recently. I've seen some bottom of the barrel DVD releases, but this takes the cake. The movie doesn't even have a menu. It goes straight from the FBI warning to the movie. Even the cheapest DVDs I've seen have at least a single frame menu with "Play" and "Chapters."

I noticed that, too. I kept trying to press the 'disc menu' button but nothing happened. I'm glad to hear it was on more than one DVD, not just mine.

Yes I just bought a used copy of this movie the other day and watched it. I wished more DVD's were like this.

It sounds like a lot of the movies that get issued for free over here in England with the sunday newspapers. cheap and absolutely no frills.

Everything will be OK in the end, if it aint OK,it aint the end.

Oh WOW! About you remembering this 80's gem and getting a copy of it.

Mine is the same way. A menu would have been nice, but a great movie nonetheless. The one advantage to this is that the movie will run in a continuous loop.

"What are we supposed to use? Harsh language?"

Yes it will continue to run all right. Next year in 2014 will mark the 30th anniversary of this film so possibly Universial Syudios will come out with a Special Edition of the movie? It would be nice if they did that while a lot of the actors are still alive. The evil sheriff passed away 2 years ago. I meant the actor who played the sheriff.

That is what shocked me about buying my DVD copy this past Thursday. I watched it to check to make sure it works. I was glad to get a copy of this movie. :)
