Where are they now?

Anybody have any idea where any of these kids ended up?

This info in a couple of years old but gives you a general idea:

Lulu was stabbed to death (1986, I think) in the video arcade shown in the movie.

Roberta was murdered by Gary Ridgeway (Green River Killer)

Tiny has a slew of kids, living on public assistance in Federal Way.

Munchkin is a cook in Seattle (13 coins, I think).

Patti died of AIDS.

Dewayne, of course, hanged himself at Echo Glen.

Before I saw this thread, I found two interesting websites about "Tiny" Erin Blackwell

Her daughter talking about herself, her mother and her 9 siblings, six years ago.

Subtlety in Excess blog post with photos from 2009. The photos and text range from when Erin was a teenage street kid until she's a grown up, married woman with many kids.

I wish there were similar pages about all the other kids who made it to middle age adulthood.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

I just have a feeling a lot of these posts didn't really need to be "deleted by an administrator"

I know Renee, she's briefly in the hotel scene telling the camera people to get out. She's not a bad person deep down, last I knew (2010ish), she was an addict and living near downtown Seattle. I also know the black pimp who meets his mom and grandma downtown, Pretty Tony. You can see him these days on Capitol Hill and downtown, he's an addict (as of a couple years ago), and was homeless (as of a couple years ago). I say hello whenever I see him, I like the guy. I don't know any of the others off the top of my head, I think Munchkin was a cook at The Hurricane or 13 Coins, I know Patti died of AIDS, Roberta was a victim of Gary Ridgeway, and from multiple accounts, Rat is alive and well, and well adjusted. I used to ask Renee about the film and those days a lot, that movie was filmed when I was 2, has been my favorite movie, and I will forever be enamored by it. I could watch it a million times and it would never get old.

I almost forgot! The older guy who lived in the abandoned building with Rat, I've seen him at the Seattle Folklife Festival a few times over the years, and Baby Gramps, who sings "Teddy Bear Picnic" at the beginning is alive and well, he's at the same festival year after year. Erin "Tiny" has 9 kids, oldest would be 28. I read a post from her daughter that she was re-married and lives in Des-Moines. The last 4 kids were from her current husband. She looks nothing like she did back then.

Correction, as of now, Tiny has *10* kids, last five by her husband. Here is a somewhat recent update with newer photos:http://subtletyinexcess.blogspot.com/2008/01/erin-tiny-blackwell.html
