Can someone please explain this film to me?

I'm really not being rude or facetious but I don't get the point of this film AT ALL. I am completely open to art house movies, trust me. I just don't get this one. Please explain what I am missing, thanks. There doesn't seem to be anything compelling about any of it and the story is virtually nonexistent.
