Gas Station Filming Location

The scene where they stop to fill up was filmed on Murfreesboro Highway 41, exit 105 off I-24 just Northeast of Manchester, Tennessee. The station has been gone for some time now but the pavement is still there. The red barn seen in the background, which is a truck repair shop, is still there as well.

I posted the diner location before but it was deleted. That's not too far from this location. Exit 143 off I-24. Martin Springs Rd in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Fireworks shop is still there but sadly the diner has been gone for well over ten years or so.

Still trying to find some other locations in Tenn. Any help is appreciated!

I looked up the spot where they hitched the ride after eluding the roadblock. It was I-70 and the road crossing under was Colorado Rt 340. In the movie there's no sign of civilization. Today it's a very developed spot. No hint of what the movie scene looked like.

I'm pretty sure the roadblock was filmed just outside of Las Vegas on highway 15 and the road they were driving away on was route 93 and it still looks the same for the most part if you go on Google and check out the street view in the area.
