Harve saved Star Trek after STMP & never got the credit he deserved for this. Without Harve there would probably never have been a Nick Meyer TWOK or all that followed up to ST5.
So it fair to say Harve was a big part of why Trek survived beyond the 1980's.

Harve was included in Search for Spock, Star Trek III DVD's Special Features, 2009 issue. He discussed TREK at length, at The Science Fiction Museum in Seattle.
Harve's commentary is illuminating and preserved forever, thanks to the respect Paramount rightly paid him. It was primarily his writing expertise, that put excitement and complex character interactions, back into Star Trek. He made the franchise survive.
He died just two days before Nimoy died. Creepy.
