Mermaids are scary
I would be a little scared of running into a mermaid underwater.
I remember watching a scene in this movie and thought how scary it would be in real life.
They really are!
Mermaids are either super duper scary, drowning their hapless victims in the depths of the deep, dark oceanic abyss.
Or
Extremely nice, kind, caring, and generous, supporting the stowaway however they can because they sense something different about that person for reasons that remain vague and unclear.
That what makes them so alluring and attractive, embracing the belly of the beast or Aphrodite's fortunate embrace.
