What was PG in the 1980s is considered R rated these days... The movie world these days is less sensual than it used to be...

Whoa.

I’ll address this:

“Things were different back then”

This is something that’s been preached throughout world history. For example, the crowd tired of the “PC-ness” of the modern world (funny enough, they’re the same ones who lose their minds over seeing more diversity or messages that don’t agree with their old timey beliefs in movies these days), have this romanticized version of the “good ol’ days”. But really, you think if social media was around back then there wouldn’t be an outcry over a movie like this? Hell, there WERE Asian viewers back then who were upset with the stereotypical character seen in this movie. Difference is, back then people couldn’t have their voices heard like they are today. Of course you find this movie offensive for, dare I say, way less offensive reasons. Believe it or not, there are other older PG movies that show topless women and have an F bomb or two (Airplane!).

Now I enjoy this movie for its silliness and don’t take it seriously. However, the criticism it receives by the “sissy generation” isn’t exactly undeserved. To reiterate, others find it distasteful not for the nudity but for the sexism and stereotypes seen (I know old chaps, we’re too sensitive, PC, alt-right insults ad nasueam). I get it’s not the nudity itself but the fact it is seen in a movie younger kids can watch. But fruitless opinions aside, the reason this got a PG rating was because it wasn’t considered R rated material, and PG-13 wasn’t introduced until like three months after this movie came out. So yeah.

Thats completely wrong. Today people have no voice cause social network reached the peak of their influence today. But back then you had movements which were on the streets. And (!) the media reported about it. That is influence. Not some idiots starting a falme war about any sh*t.

And naked women or men are no problem at all for children. Get some therapist if you think different.
