Sam's friend

Not a very supportive friend!

I know this is a late reply but I agree 100%! In the beginning when she was talking to Sam on the phone and Sam was telling her all her insecurities, instead of being a real friend by saying something to boost Sam's confidence, she went the complete opposite way by saying "Well did you expect to change overnight?" I know we don't actually hear her say that but it's safe to assume that by Sam's response. She was also insensitive toward Sam's feelings when her family forgot to wish her a happy birthday ("What do you want, a parade??")! Then she put Sam down when she found out about her feelings for Jake by saying, "He doesn't even know you exist!" She definitely wouldn't be a good friend!

Surprising that it's the same actress who played Megan in Critters 2.

Why wouldn't she be a good friend, she was just telling Sam the truth.

Didn't she also tell Sam that her little brother paid to see Sam's panties?

That's how I took it too. She just told it was like it was. A laudable quality, really.

reply

She should be grateful she actually has a friend who'll tell it like it is, not some phony sugarcoating everything.

reply

She is a real friend. She didn't lie.

reply

I couldn't stand her in this movie, & liked her in "brother from another planet"
& "girlfriend from hell"

you're going for, the last ride ah haaaaaaaa

reply

I thought the same as a young teen but as I got older I knew real friends tell you like it is.

reply

She was a nice friend why did she not have more scenes?

reply

Yeah she was completely honest, though a little "go for it" wouldn't have hurt every now and then. No? :D

While it can be easy to find her annoying, I guess she's as true of a friend as one can be.
