I want to buy this movie in good quality,does it exist and how can I get a suitable copy?
shareA very belated reply but I bought a copy of this movie on DVD, region 2. The sound quality does leave something to be desired. In spite of the disparaging remarks that have been made I enjoyed the film and found the acting convincing. I see that Sylvia Plath killed herself in February 1963. Skip's reasons for taking his own life do not seem very compelling however. After all he had a good home and his own car. At sixteen years of age what more could he want?

Dana Hill's character Cindy reads one of Plath's poem to a class. Her brother Skip (Chad Lowe) was the one who committed suicide.
