Great score

This movie has a beautiful score - reminds me a bit of Ravel's Piano Concerto for the Left Hand? Superb composer. Nice movie. I find some of the dialogue difficult to hear. Either some of the actors are mumbling, or the sound recording is a bit off. Possibly the characters are supposed to mumble their lines, since that what they probably do in real life. I had to back forward to catch what they were saying a number of times. Beautifully shot.

I bought the DVD this week and saw it last night. I had read your comment and put on the subtitles!

I can't find the soundtrack anywhere on IMDB. There seems to be no listing. I would to know if there is a cd available or even what the theme music is called.

There is a ragtime piano piece played in the movie. Is there any indication whether it was a period tune or composed for the movie?
