Wow wow wow. I'm not a Nixon buff by any means, but I know enough to get a lot out of this movie. So I was excited to see it - and I was not disappointed. Entirely more riveting than a stage piece with one actor has any right to be. Only once or twice did I feel lost in a sea of unknown names or events, but this passed quickly, as Hall and Altman quickly bring it back to a psychological place that would be fascinating to someone who's never heard of Nixon. Great movie, 10/10.

I actually didn't know a lot about Nixon either when I first saw the film but it served as a great introduction.

Even more amazing is that this film was released when Tricky Dick was still alive. Wonder if he had seen it.
