The John Farnham songs are soooo cool. A big shame the soundtrack is not on cd. I got a cdr from i-offer which sound good, but i rather have it on a real cd. Maybe some day it will happen.

i so agree! i love the songs in this film, good to see another fan posting on this board too, this is one of my all time favourite films!

Yeah, and you also like Return of the Living dead which also have a kick ass soundtrack, and Gremlins. I guess we like the same stuff.

Totally agree, the majority of the movies I like are from the 80s.

my top 10 would be something like this (taken from my top 75)

other mentions, Friday The 13th movies, Rocky III&IV, Gremlins, Revenge Of The Nerds, Chopping Mall, Demons, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Fright Night...so many awesome films! and it was hard to narrow down to 10

All movies you list are great stuff except Ferris which for me is only okay. Youre not looking forward to the Fright Night remake I guess. Rocky 4 beside Rambo 2 was my favourite movie when I was in my teens. Stay cool !

Yeah the remake is looking to be pretty bad (judging that new Peter Vincent pic i saw on Bloody-Disgusting.com a while back) but i will watch it i guess,

I thought the music was pretty awful. I'm just not into the 80's arena rock stuff. But it did fit the mood of the movie.

Currently watching the montage with Brenda in the bath tub and cig in the other hand with "Justice for One/all" playing. Very catchy stuff!
