Linda Kicks Ass

I'm very well aware that Savage Street is sleazy, exploitive trash. However thanks to Linda Blair she elevates it with her feisty and ballsy performance sinking her teeth in and devouring the scenery. She is the one who makes it worth watching and I'll be bold to say that it's one of her best roles post Exorcist.

Agreed.

Couldn't agree with you anymore.

Linda Blair is very tough and sexy in this choice chunk of low-grade sleazy 80's exploitation trash. She looked especially hot and desirable in that skintight leather outfit she wears for the last third of the movie.

Uh, WHAT?!? Blair stinks up the screen in this stinker of a movie!

She can barely deliver her lines, in fact she stumbles at times, and is completely unnatural in her role.

The fight scenes at the end are especially bad, where she gets hit by the fence and pretends, unconvincingly to be hurt.

She is TERRIBLE in this movie, and it is clear why she never went anywhere as an actress.

I noticed this, too. I got the feeling she didn't really want to be there doing this movie (which she did admit to - along with Chained Heat - on a bio about her career a few years back). She was much better in her earlier bad girl roles: Born Innocent and Sweet Hostage.

She sure does.

Even when she's not physically kicking ass, that scene of her in the bath-tub with her breasts out was highly un-necessary, but also highly kick-ass :)

Well put. This is one of Linda's most fun roles and performances.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Linda really was wonderful in this movie. Her character had some great lines and she was a total badass. This is one of the best performances of hers that I've seen.
