Maybe another alternate title?

I remember catching this movie late at night on cable many a year ago. It was definitely a steamy film.

Anyway, while wondering IMDB tonight, I thought about it, and decided to look it up. All I could remember was that Eric Stoltz was in it, and I figured I could look up on his entry, and find a title that stuck in my head. None of the titles struck a chord of recognition to me. Finally, after searching a bit, I found this one, and realized that this was the movie I was looking for.

Still, the title, (and listed alternate), really bothered me. So, I'm looking up information on the main female actress, and I find a listing on MGM's movie database for a movie with both her and Eric Stoltz listed called, "Lucky 13". I remember her fascination with her, "lucky # 13", is mentioned throughout the film. I really believe that this is the title I saw it under.

Anyway, when you click the link for the MGM listed movie, it's actually for a 2005 comedy movie, which is definitely NOT this one. Still, (I'm sure by accident), they list Eric Stoltz, and Monica Carrico. Since I'm guessing this MGM database is mainly for their movies, I wonder if this older film was also alternately titled, "Lucky 13", and that's why they got it confused with this newer comedy that has nothing to do with it.

Oh well, just a thought. I think I have this on tape somewhere, packed away in a storage area. If I ever get to those tapes again, I'll have to try to find it and watch it again.

I saw this movie on video here in New Zealand on the 21st September 1990 it was called Lucky 13. Can't remember it however.

I can't believe soseone else actually saw this movie the exact way I did
(in the middle of the night)and wrote about it on this site. That's so cool. I mean I'm a huge Eric Stoltz fan and tried looking up this movie too but I also saw it listed under the title Lucky 13 and could not find it until I dug a little deeper into this site and found the alternate title. If you ever find the movie in storage I'd love to a have a copy of it. Get back to me and let me know. Although I guess I could buy it on this site. Well it was stll cool to find another movie reject out there just like me.

I remember this movie being called Lucky 13. I checked under alternate titles when I searched for Lucky 13. I guess most people forgot about this movie. It was on all time on Late night HBO.

I saw it on cable many years ago under the title Lucky 13. About a year ago I bought the video used on Amazon. It's being released on dvd in February, and you can pre-order from Amazon. I just hope the dvd for Undercover with Athena Massey wil be released soon. She is hot!!

I definitely remember this being on cable alot under the title "Lucky 13", I was almost convinced it didnt exsist until I finally looked up this title. I hope to run into a copy of this movie in VHS or dvd sooner or later as I remember it being very good.

I remember one time, this was on Cinemax one week as Lucky 13 and then the next week, it was on Showtime or The Movie Channel as Running Hot. It must have been early 1986. I was a big fan of Eric Stoltz around that time and taped everything on TV with him. I might still have the tape that had both recordings of this movie on them in storage.

Decent movie, overall. But, very 80's and spotty sound mixing.
