Does anyone else feel bad for the other robbers?

For not having any wifes? Must be lonely :P

reply

That is a hard question to reply. It depends on wether they want to have wives or not. They might prefer loneliness, you never know. If they choose not to have wives, there is no need to feel sorry for them because it's their decision. If they wish but don't have, then it must be sad.

Yeah, it was a little bit weird, that only chieftains seemed to be allowed to have a wife. I've also wondered about how lonely it must have been for both Lovis and Undis to be the only woman around so many men.

At least Lovis had Ronja, so she was no longer the only woman in the house. But it must be strange for a woman to be around so many men, as well as for a man it must be odd to be around so many women.

Tell me about it. And even when Lovis got Ronja, it was a child, not another woman. But at least she and Undis seemed to get along well in the end.

Yes, at least Lovis finally had someone of her own age to spend time with.
