"You've got a real, live, Jessie goin' on right here"

While she's trying to cross the dangerous bridge and he's loading shells into his shotgun, he says:

"Lady, I hope you're takin' notes, 'cause you've got a real, live, Jessie goin' on right here"

At least it sounds like "Jessie". How does he know about Jessie (the hero of her books) at that point? She hadn't yet told him, at least not on-screen.

Perhaps draft screenplay versions included her explaining Jessie beforehand, but the movie screenplay didn't, and perhaps the movie continuity people missed that part.

Not complaining though! Love the movie overall.

If you look up the script for the movie or if you watch it with closed captioning, he says, "A real live death scene going on right here".

Watching it now and that is exactly what he said.

Yeah, he says "You've got a real live death scene goin' on right here." I always thought he said it clearly enough to be understood.
