Do you really think Jack killed the crocodile?

I think that's rather unlikely.
My guess is that he went back to the crashed airplane in the jungle and sold all the weed (probably to Juan, the bellmaker).

He had admitted earlier in the movie to Joan that he has dealt in drugs before.

It would have been more than enough to buy a Yacht...

What do you think?

He was wearing a crocodile skin boots in the end, so yes, I think that was a hint he killed the croc. Pay attention next time. Haven't seen the movie for years, but still remember the ending.

Yes, the movie implies that he killed the crocodile. He had the crocodile skin boots and the money to buy the ship. It had already been established that Jack did not like the drug trade...
