how can i get this on dvd or tape???
i dont think it's ever been released.
i had it on vhs in the mid 80's but alas have not seen it since.

Well, I've just found it at Amazon for $20 plus shipping.
Not cheap but this is a pig to find so I didn't hesitate.
The DVD is an American release region 1 NTSC, though ironically under the original title "Les Ripoux" and not the US-only re-title "My New Partner". Hopefully any American fans of this will find it! Of course in England we know it as "Le Cop".
Don't despair in England, an all region player will sort you out. Don't know why this suddenly got a belated release on DVD, but don't care, it's out and with English subtitles, finally!
While you're at it, try "Le Bonhour Est Dans Le Pris", another small French gem that is a real favourite of mine, found that at Bensonsworld, it's region 2 PAL.
Has this got sub-titles?

Ebay has new dvd's for $11.40 with no postage but they are from South Korea in French with english subtitles.
