I don't even feel guilty. I love this movie. I own it on DVD and will watch it everytime it comes on TV. It's one of my favorites.

Yeah, it's not a great comedy, but I find most of it charming, and pretty amusing.

I enjoy this movie becasue the simple fact is, it is FUNNY!

Charming's a good word for it. I thought Dolly and Sly had interesting chemistry.

I was looking forward to adding this to my trash collection along with Mommy Dearest, Xanadu, Showgirls, Can't Stop the Music, Voyage of the Rock Aliens, etc...but now that I've finally seen it, in my opinion it's just bad. Toe-cringing. Eye-wincing. Awful. Not even 'so bad it's good'. Dolly Parton was charming as ever and excelled with her songs, but every time Stallone started to sing my eardrums started to bleed. My eyes too, a little.
