Man, this flick is waaaay overdue for a dvd release, love this clasic gorefest. I'll be waiting for the stores to open when it comes out!!! Anyone happen to know if it is coming out?

At thedigitalbits.com a special edition is listed as coming out 10/26/04.

Is the Synapse DVD for The Deadly Spawn the uncut version?

I've never seen any mention of the new DVD being cut. I know they used the original 16mm negatives for the new transfer so I doubt its cut.
