AMAZING cinematography

The movie is, overall, extremely atmospheric. But not only that, plenty of the shots are what I call "poster-worthy". The silhouetted scenes are all beautiful, and whenever the sky is in focus you have amazing scenery.

Lots of foggy creepiness present as well. Indeed, most atmospheric.

If only it had a bit better writing, yeah? Still, the directional effort was outstanding (although the final fight was very hard to follow). I wish more filmmakers cared more about that kind of aesthetics.

In my opinion, this movie should warrant a higher score for the artistic values alone. It's rare that movies fascinate me this much in any aspect. The featured cover for the movie here does it justice. This is art; and that's a title you'll rarely find me grant something.

I have to agree. This is a very good movie in a visual sense.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

I'm glad someone agrees. :)

It's the best demo reel for any director I've ever seen. Most visual tricks that Highlander is famous for are tried out here. By the end the movie fell apart, but it's okay because Russ Mulcahy'd already get his job assignments.

Agreed. The visual style is the main (and probably the only) thing that is noteworthy about this movie.

Yes, the cinematography and photography are incredible. This is quite an interesting piece of cinema for the visuals alone, and yes - kind of underrated.

Agree 100%! Cinematography is ridiculously awesome. For this alone I would give it a 7.
(at the time of writing rating is at 5.9)

Indeed, it looks incredible. Way better than it has any business being for a killer pig flick.

Fuckin' A!

I've seen a lot of people compliment the cinematography in this and rightly so. Great vivid lighting with some brilliant camera work. It's academy award winning caliber!

This film legitimately has a shout at having the best cinematography in a Horror film ever!
