Potential Labyrinth Connection

I recall reading somewhere that at one point, Dario Argento and Jim Henson were intending to collaborate on a project titled Creepers. It was going to be this dark retelling of Snow White, with a girl who can communicate with animals, a witch, and a even some goblins thrown in for good measure. Apparently the movie got as far as early casting, with both Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie in lead roles. BUT, they had trouble funding the project, and it ended up sort of phasing out. Argento's contributions ended up becoming Phenomena, and all of Henson's creature designs and David Bowie ended up in Labyrinth. So essentially, Labyrinth and Phenomena started out as the same movie. How awesome would that have been?
