In my list of "so bad is good" movies. Among many details, one of the many absurdities was **SPOILER ALERT** at the end, she watches her dad's head chopped-off, and seconds later shes happy petting a killer monkey, like nothing happened. WTF ?!? LOL

I just saw the scene again; you're right, thanks. Now the monkey-petting after a beheading looks less bizarre I guess.

It's not absurd. Why shouldn't she pet the monkey, he killed the woman that killed her father and tried to kill her. Her way of thanking the monkey for what he did to save her.

It is a strange movie but a very good one nonetheless. The first time I watched it I was very surprised to see the monkey save the day. And when you've seen as many horror movies as I have you start to learn all the tricks so it takes a lot to surprise me.
