I've never seen the movie and was wondering if Tawny Kitaen speaks english or french throughout the movie. I'm asking because on the imdb it says the language of the movie is french. Does this mean it's a mainly french movie and Tawny is one of the only english speaking characters and she actually talks french in it?
shareTawny and the rest of the main cast (not sure about Zabou) dub their own voices in english. Almost all of the scenes seem to be filmed in english, too. Just understand that ALL of the dialogue is dubbed to make it easier to distribute in foreign territories (among other things).
shareIt seems that most of the cast actually speaks English. The new Unrated DVD has French and English audio. The French looks and sounds dubbed, mostly. The movie was made in France, so they probably had the Americans speak English and dubbed things to match. This is done for many low-budget foreign movies, like Cemetery Man. The actors speak different languages.
I think the English version is better, and is probably what the main actors were actually saying. The lips match English more than French, and the English sounds better to me. I think the two leads spoke English, at the least. The second girl probably spoke French. Half of the lesser characters seem to speak English. It's probably half dubbed any way you look at it.
