National Anthem

Forgive me if I'm missing something, but if the film is set circa 1920/ late twenties (the novel was written in 1925), then why does the National Anthem sing God Save the Queen? The monarch was King George V until 1936...

It doesn't; no words are sung when the anthem is performed during the movie and, of course, the music is the same for whomever is the Monarch
