A bit overrated...

Don't get me wrong, it's a David Lean film. But still, comparing this to "Doctor Zhivago" or "Bridge on the River Kwai", it's just inferior. The cinematography was much better in Zhivago, and with an exception or two, most of the acting in Zhivago was better (although Fielding and Aziz were amazing).

That's just my opinion. It's good, but not great.

I disagree. I was really disappointed by acting in Doctor Zhivago by everyone except Geraldine Chaplin. Plus I think the relationship between Christie & Sharif didn't work at all. All in all, I much prefer A passage to India.

you are as "intelligent" as he is

You are too kind. The was cinematography was good, but what a colossal waste of talent. B-O-R-I-N-G.

do you still hear the echos in your head

you are a bit retarded

It is very over-rated.

But so are most David Lean films (except Brief Encounter). Bloated marginally interesting movies that are presented as epics but really mediocre 90 minute movies with much waste.

It is overrated. Some people actually like it, but many are either afraid to admit they don't, or they receive their opinions from critics or other sources.
